// The platform
What is Google Cloud?
Google Cloud is Google’s public cloud platform — the same infrastructure, data systems and AI models that run Google Search, YouTube, Gmail and Maps, made available for your business to build on.
It spans more than 150 products across six areas: AI and machine learning, data and analytics, compute and infrastructure, networking, security, and productivity. Use one or all of them, pay only for what you consume, and scale from a single virtual machine to a global platform without changing vendor.

Your data can now stay in Thailand.
On 21 January 2026, Google Cloud opened its Bangkok region — three availability zones, Google’s 43rd region worldwide, and the end of the conversation that used to stop every Thai cloud project at “but where does the data live?”

What it actually changes for you
| Term | Description |
|---|---|
| Data residency | Store and process specified data within Thailand’s borders, with default multi-layered encryption and customer-managed keys through Cloud KMS |
| PDPA | Google states the region lets organisations “maintain full alignment with local regulations, including the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA)” — the residency question stops being a blocker in security review |
| Latency | Traffic no longer round-trips to Singapore. ⟦our own measured Bangkok latency figure + method⟧ The difference is most visible in chatty applications, interactive dashboards and real-time systems |
| Compliance | The region carries ISO/IEC 27001, 27017, 27018 · PCI DSS · SOC 1, 2, 3 |
| AI in-country | Google’s launch announcement names Vertex AI, Gemini 3, Imagen and Veo ⟦verify per-service availability and state the date checked⟧ |
| Sovereign option | For the strictest requirements, Google has partnered with Gulf Edge on a sovereign cloud offering in Thailand |
Should you move to the Thailand region?
Not automatically. Moving regions is a migration, and it’s only worth doing where it pays. Here’s the honest version:
| ✓ Move it | ! Think twice |
|---|---|
| Anything holding personal data where PDPA residency is a live requirement | Storage-heavy archives — Cloud Storage currently prices higher in Thailand than Singapore |
| Latency-sensitive workloads — interactive apps, dashboards, real-time systems, contact centre | Workloads already running well in Singapore with no residency requirement and no latency complaint |
| Compute-heavy steady-state workloads, where the Thailand region prices lower | Services not yet available in the region — check availability before committing |
| Anything currently blocked in security review over data location | Anything mid-flight in another migration — don’t stack two moves |
Regional price differences move. Figures reported as of 31 January 2026 showed Compute Engine and BigQuery cheaper in Thailand and Cloud Storage more expensive. Verify current pricing before relying on them.
We’ll tell you which of your workloads belong in Bangkok and which don’t — as a two-week assessment, with the analysis yours to keep.

Who’s already there
Google named True Digital Group, KASIKORN Business-Technology Group (KBTG), Dhipaya Group Holdings and Krungthai Card (KTC) among the region’s launch customers — and projects a THB 1.4 trillion (US$41 billion) contribution to Thailand’s economy over five years, supporting an average of 130,000 jobs a year.
// Why Google Cloud
Six reasons teams choose Google Cloud.
Every hyperscaler will tell you they’re scalable, reliable and secure. Here’s what’s specifically true of Google Cloud in 2026 — with the numbers attached.
-
AI that’s already in production, not in a demo
Google builds the models, the chips and the platform, so the AI isn’t bolted on.
- Nearly 75% of Google Cloud customers already use its AI products in their business
- 330 customers each processed over a trillion tokens in the past 12 months
- Google’s models handle more than 16 billion tokens per minute through direct API use
- Gemini Enterprise brings agents, enterprise search and Workspace intelligence into one platform

-
Data that’s ready for AI on day one
BigQuery is a serverless data warehouse — no clusters to size, no servers to patch. Your team writes SQL, not infrastructure. Pair it with Looker for one governed definition of every business metric, and your data platform is AI-ready without a second migration.
This is the work we do most. Data pipelines, data lakes, data warehouses, analytics and machine learning on Google Cloud — designed and deployed by certified architects and engineers.
-
Infrastructure built for the AI era
Where Google publishes its hardest numbers — and its only public head-to-head hyperscaler comparisons.
Claim Detail Managed Lustre: up to 20× faster than other hyperscalers 10 TB/s bandwidth — a 10× improvement year over year Axion N4A: up to 30% better price-performance than agent workloads on other hyperscalers For GKE Agent Sandbox workloads TPU 8i: 80% better performance per dollar for inference than the prior generation Plus up to 5× lower on-chip latency GKE pod startup up to 80% faster, models load 5× faster Time-to-first-token cut by more than 70% Source: AI infrastructure at Next ’26
-
Security built in, not bought in
Google secures Gmail, Chrome, Android and Search — billions of users — on the same underlying stack you inherit. Encryption at rest and in transit is on by default, identity is centralised through IAM, and threat intelligence comes from Google’s own global visibility rather than a third-party feed.
-
Collaboration in the same platform
Google Workspace isn’t a separate purchase from a separate vendor — it’s the same identity, the same admin console and the same security policy as your cloud workloads. One contract, one place to manage access.
-
Sovereignty and data residency you can actually satisfy
This used to be the reason Thai organisations ruled Google Cloud out. It’s now a reason to look again.
- Data in Thailand. The Bangkok region (asia-southeast3) means specified data is stored and processed inside the country, with PDPA alignment stated by Google
- Sovereign cloud. Google’s partnership with Gulf Edge provides a sovereign offering for requirements beyond standard residency
- On your own premises. Google Distributed Cloud runs Google Cloud in your data centre or at the edge — air-gapped or connected
Google’s framing: “You get world-class AI innovation in your own premises without the toil.” · Forrester 2026: “Sovereignty Is The New Differentiator.”

// Why Digithun
You can buy Google Cloud directly. Here’s why our customers don’t.
Buying through Digithun costs you nothing extra — Google’s list price is Google’s list price. What changes is everything around it: how you’re invoiced, what discount you get, and who picks up the phone at 2am.

Frequently asked questions.
Is it more expensive to buy Google Cloud through a partner?
No. You pay Google’s list price or less. Digithun does not add a mark-up — our margin comes from Google, not from you. ⟦state the exact discount if one is passed through⟧
Can I get a Thai tax invoice for my cloud spend?
Yes. We issue a full ใบกำกับภาษี in your company’s name, in Thai Baht, every month — for Google Cloud, Google Workspace, Maps, Chrome Enterprise and Alibaba Cloud on a single invoice.
I’m already using Google Cloud. Can I switch my billing to you?
Yes, and it’s simpler than most people expect. Your projects, resources, IAM and configuration are untouched — only the billing account changes. It takes about a week. Existing Committed Use Discounts transfer with you.
What happens to my Committed Use Discounts if I switch?
Existing CUDs transfer to your new billing account. New CUDs are purchased through Digithun for the remainder of your term. We’ll model whether committing is worth it before you sign anything.
Do I have to buy implementation services to buy licences from you?
No. Plenty of our customers buy only the billing relationship and run everything themselves. The engineering team is there when you want it.
Which region should Thai companies use?
Since 21 January 2026 there’s a Google Cloud region in Bangkok (asia-southeast3) with three availability zones, so for most Thai organisations the answer is now Thailand — particularly if you handle personal data and PDPA residency matters, or if latency affects the user experience. Singapore (asia-southeast1) still makes sense for workloads that need a service not yet available in Bangkok, or where a multi-region setup calls for it. We’ll map this workload by workload rather than guess.
We’re already on Google Cloud in Singapore. Should we move to Bangkok?
Not automatically — moving regions is a migration, and it should pay for itself. It’s usually worth it for anything holding personal data where residency is a live requirement, for latency-sensitive applications, and for compute-heavy workloads where regional pricing favours Thailand. It’s often not worth it for storage-heavy archives, or for workloads running happily in Singapore with no residency or latency pressure. Our two-week Thailand Region Fit Assessment answers this with your actual workloads and your actual bill, and you keep the analysis either way.
Is Google Cloud cheaper in the Thailand region?
It depends on the service. Regional pricing genuinely differs — some services price lower in Thailand than Singapore, and at least one (Cloud Storage) has priced higher. Anyone who tells you the whole region is cheaper hasn’t checked. We’ll model it against your real usage before you move anything.
Is my data safe under PDPA?
Data in the Bangkok region stays within Thailand’s borders, with encryption at rest and in transit by default and customer-managed keys available through Cloud KMS. Google states the region supports full alignment with the PDPA, and it carries ISO/IEC 27001, 27017, 27018, PCI DSS and SOC 1, 2 and 3. For workloads with requirements beyond standard residency, Google’s sovereign cloud partnership with Gulf Edge and Google Distributed Cloud provide further options.
How does Google Cloud compare to AWS and Azure?
For most workloads all three are viable. Google Cloud tends to win on data and AI — BigQuery is serverless, so there’s no cluster to size, and Google builds its own models and chips. Google publishes two direct comparisons: Managed Lustre at up to 20× faster than other hyperscalers, and Axion N4A at up to 30% better price-performance for agent workloads. If you’re mostly running commodity VMs, the decision usually comes down to pricing, existing skills and support — and we’ll tell you honestly if Google isn’t the right fit.
What support do I get, and in what language?
Thai and English, 24×7. Escalation into Google for platform issues, our own engineers for everything else. Support tiers start free with a billing relationship.
Can you help us apply for Google migration credits or funding?
Yes — this is one of the main reasons to work with a partner. Migration credits, POC funding and startup credits are allocated through the partner channel and are generally not available if you buy direct. We’ll tell you what you qualify for before you commit.
Do you build Customer Data Platforms on Google Cloud?
Yes — it’s one of our core services, and one of the few things on this page that most Google Cloud partners don’t do. We’ve built CDPs that unify customer data across systems into a single profile on Google Cloud, so marketing, service and analytics all work from the same view.
Can you work with our existing data warehouse or lake?
Usually, yes. Our assessment starts with what you already have — the point is to find what’s worth keeping, what’s worth moving and what’s worth retiring, not to rebuild everything by default.
How long does a typical migration take?
An assessment takes 2–3 weeks. A landing zone takes about 6 weeks. A first migration wave usually runs 8–12 weeks depending on how many systems move together. We give you a week-by-week plan before you sign.
Do you work with Alibaba Cloud too?
Yes. We’re a partner on both platforms and bill them on one invoice. If your workload is better suited to Alibaba Cloud — particularly for the China market — we’ll say so.
Let’s talk about your Google Cloud.
Tell us what you’re trying to solve. A Google Cloud architect will read it — not a sales development rep — and reply within 1 business day.

Our
Move
-
Buying the platform and building on it used to be two conversations with two suppliers. It is one conversation now: we resell Google Cloud, Alibaba Cloud and BytePlus, and the same engineers who size the environment stay with it through production support.
For teams already running with us, nothing changes technically — the difference is commercial. Licensing, quota and billing sit with the people who know what the workload actually does.
-
A certified implementation partner works to the cloud provider's published reference architectures. In practice that means your landing zone, IAM model and network layout look like something any Google Cloud engineer can pick up — including the next team you hire.
It also means the review gates are not ours to waive. Where the reference architecture asks for separation of duties or a break-glass path, it gets built.
-
Hospital data arrives in fragments — HIS exports, lab feeds, scanned forms, free-text notes in Thai and English. Before a model sees any of it, someone has to answer where each field came from, who consented to what, and which records must never leave the country.
We build that layer first. It is slower to demo and it is the reason the pilots survive contact with a real ward.
-
Live commerce moves fast enough that the recommendation loop has to close in the same session. That puts the weight on the event pipeline, not the model: what counts as a view, when a cart event lands, how quickly the feature store sees it.
We treat the BytePlus components as a stack to be wired properly rather than a switch to be flipped. The lift comes from the wiring.
-
The site you are reading ships as static HTML, one stylesheet and one script, served by a Node process with a strict content security policy. There is no analytics tag, no font CDN and no tracker.
It is partly a statement of taste and partly a working sample: the same restraint we bring to a client's platform, applied to our own front door.
-
Warehouses fill up faster than they get governed. By the time a model needs a feature, nobody can say which of the four revenue columns is authoritative, and the project stalls in a meeting about definitions.
The fix is unglamorous: contracts on the ingest side, lineage through the transformations, and one owner per domain. Do that and the AI work stops being archaeology.
